Sayonara to Pacifier

All along i dun encourage pacifier though it really calm & soothe jerald whenever he wants to sleep. It becomes worse when he seems so attached to it even though it is not bedtime at all. He'll help himself to it & pass us the cover whenever he reach home. My parents also find it weird as he seems addicted to it. Well... it' really time to wean him off. Told my mum tat i'll try to do it during 1 of the weekends & she must coordinate with me & we must not give in no matter wat. All of a sudden, my mum called me today & say dun give jerld pacifier anymore & start from today. Alamak of so many days why must it be a Monday??? Jialat i guess i'll be more "or ba ka" liao. Heard some say if good luck will only takes 2-3days if not will be weeks or even months. Wish me luck!!! Hopefully my parents or Daddy Jen won't give in to his demand.

19 Months old

Time really flies... how i wish Jerald's still a little baby to me. Let us carry, hold & cuddle him tight without any struggling & protesting. Nowadays he tends to puke or spit out his porridge, guess he's sick of it liao so my mum give him rice with soup most of the time but seems like he's more interested in taking fruits. Past few days his appetite drop a lot partly bcos he's not well and i think he's teething at the same time haiz... All of a sudden, he pulled my fingers & start to bite it hard ouch!!! Very pain lei... He can even smile & chuckle out loud thought i'm playing with him.

Last night while we were rolling on the bed, i happened to see lots of mucus flowing out after Daddy Jen gave him some nose drop. Tried to use tissue but in vain so quickly use my mouth to suck it out (I know it's gross but it really works & also traditional way to do it) & indeed it's better than those nose pump. After that use tissue to clean it up but my poor boy struggle & cried big time. As if i'm torturing him & Daddy Jen thought wat happen as he was watching tv in the living hall. After the hard time, jerald finally doze off to his la la land..

Really down...

Last night was pretty bad as Jerald cough on & off thru out the night while sleeping in between us. We can see that he's feeling very restless as his nose is partially blocked & the phlegm seems getting worse & stuck in between. Poor boy... I didn't managed to sleep the whole night at all. Feel like a zombie when I reached office at 8am though I only start work at 9am. Decided to bring Jerald to try out the PD at Tiong Bahru Plaza instead of going to Thomson Medical Centre. Called the clinic to make appointment but they say only first come first serve and no afternoon clinic. No choice I applied for half day childcare leave even though I only left office at 10.30am but need to return by 2pm arghhhhh... PD say Jerald has viral infection no antibiotics needed only flu, cough syrup and nose drop for him. He weighs 11.9kg & height is 83cm. Hope my baobei get well soon...

Bad weather

Jerald started to have some dry cough & rubbed his nose pretty hard since last night. Decided to bring him to see TCM at Tiong Bahru Plaza early morning b4 he catch any virus around. Doctor say he has a mild flu but will be ok after a week dosage of medicine. Feeding him medicine is a chore nowadays as Jerald tends to walk or run away by saying "wo bu yao" He knows it's medicine time whenever he see a syringe or a spoon with a cup. I see other ppl has no problems with their kids but somehow Jerald simply hates it. No choice I will pin him down while Daddy Jen slowly feed him but end of the session either one of us will be wet with all the struggling & you will see lots of tissues on the floor.

New York New York

Today is a sunny day so decided to bring Jerald to Jurong Point 2 for shopping & managed to ask Priscilia & family to join us for lunch at New York New York. We are the first to arrive and 1st customer also since it's only 11.30am hee..
Daddy Jen ordered their "must order" fish & Chips but we find it so so only..

I order their sauteed mushroon spagetti with roasted chicken so I can share it with Jerald but find their sauce a bit saltish.

Overall though the food so so only but we still enjoy the chatting & catching up with our kids around.
